In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Grandiose and Mysterious - Magnificent Paintings by Cui Ruzhuo, which included the work Beautiful Spring by Cui Ruzhuo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,060,000.00 (€ 2,402,238.76), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Ruzhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Snowing Mountains in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 306,800,000.00 (€ 34,565,614.89).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Grandiose and Mysterious - Magnificent Paintings by Cui Ruzhuo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beautiful Spring von Cui Ruzhuo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.060.000,00 (€ 2.402.238,76) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Ruzhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Snowing Mountains im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 306.800.000,00 (€ 34.565.614,89).
