In October 2018 POLY held the auction Glossiness of Uncarved Jade - Works of Cui Ruzhuo, which included the work Boating At Night by Cui Ruzhuo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,600,000.00 (€ 2,657,394.99), 57% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Ruzhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Snowing Mountains in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 306,800,000.00 (€ 34,565,614.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Glossiness of Uncarved Jade - Works of Cui Ruzhuo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boating At Night von Cui Ruzhuo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.600.000,00 (€ 2.657.394,99) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Ruzhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Snowing Mountains im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 306.800.000,00 (€ 34.565.614,89).
