Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sweet Williams by Cyril Boler was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 423.00 (€ 662.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Cyril Boler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2002 the work Road to the Coast was auctioned for GBP 446.50 (€ 699.23).
