In the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction, the work The Concerto sold for GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,219.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cyril Power have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 95,050.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cyril Power erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde wurde die Arbeit The Concerto für GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.219,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cyril Power auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Whence & Whither? (C. Cep 14) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 95.050,51).
