A top price for D*Face - as previously expected
In December 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Beyond Urban, which included the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 by D*Face. The price achieved of EUR 36,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 is the most expensive artwork by D*Face that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Beyond Urban durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 von D*Face zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 das teuerste Kunstwerk von D*Face, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
