Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Autumn Trees by Dai Xi. The price achieved of HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,651.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dai Xi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ancient Pine in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,410.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Trees von Dai Xi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.651,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dai Xi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ancient Pine im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.410,97).
