Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Phillips in 29 June - held the auction Let Loose: Online Auction, which included the work Claridges (H5-4) by Damien Hirst. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 57,150.00 (€ 6,648.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 29 June - die Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Claridges (H5-4) von Damien Hirst zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 57.150,00 (€ 6.648,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
