Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Daniel Arsham could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Daniel Arsham : Archeology of the Future auction, the work Disney Collection Mickey Mouse Plush (Large) changed hands for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,158.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Arsham konnte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Daniel Arsham : Archeology of the Future wechselte die Arbeit Disney Collection Mickey Mouse Plush (Large) für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.158,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
