Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work When The Sun Is Set by Daniel Sherrin was sold in the British and Victorian Pictures auction at Christies in London in May 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,926.77). Admittedly, works by Daniel Sherrin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Wooded Landscape with a Lake in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,359.78).

Die Arbeit When The Sun Is Set von Daniel Sherrin wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion British and Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.926,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Sherrin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape with a Lake im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.359,78).
