Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ginebra by Darío de Regoyos was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,920.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Darío de Regoyos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salida de la fábrica in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 264,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ginebra von Darío de Regoyos wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.920,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Darío de Regoyos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salida de la fábrica im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 264.250,00.
