Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by David Alfaro Siqueiros was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 247,500.00 (€ 220,274.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by David Alfaro Siqueiros have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Paisaje Rojo (Abstracción) was auctioned for USD 425,000.00 (€ 385,697.43).
