Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Healers by David Altmejd was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 53,189.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by David Altmejd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The New North in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 269,007.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Healers von David Altmejd kam im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 53.189,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Altmejd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The New North im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 217.250,00 (€ 269.007,22).
