Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Australian Art Online, which included the work The Adventure by David Bromley. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 8,610.00 (€ 5,220.62). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Bromley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon Tea Boy, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Australian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Adventure von David Bromley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 8.610,00 (€ 5.220,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von David Bromley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afternoon Tea Boy beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 10.250,00 (€ 12.093,99) versteigert wurde.
