Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hoopoes and a nest by David De Noter was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in February 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,438.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David De Noter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La lecture in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 70,499.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hoopoes and a nest von David De Noter wurde im Februar 2002 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.438,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David De Noter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La lecture im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 70.499,37).
