Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work On the Guidecca, Venice by David Law for USD 1,250.00 (€ 898.05). This price was achieved in the auction Maritime Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by David Law have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2009 by the work Parking at EUR 1,020.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit On the Guidecca, Venice von David Law für USD 1.250,00 (€ 898,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Maritime Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von David Law wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2009 die Arbeit Parking mit EUR 1.020,00.
