Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by David Tindle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2013. In the The Sunday Sale auction, the work Ecco sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Tindle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Tindle erzielte im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sunday Sale wurde die Arbeit Ecco für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Tindle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) versteigert wurde.
