Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hat with egg and reflection by David Tindle was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 895.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by David Tindle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tea in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hat with egg and reflection von David Tindle kam im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 895,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Tindle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tea im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59).
