Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A) Jesus Questioned By The Followers Of John The Baptist; B) The Entry Of Christ Into Jerusalem, And The Healing Of The Leper by David Vinckboons was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2008. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,940.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Vinckboons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A) Jesus Questioned By The Followers Of John The Baptist; B) The Entry Of Christ Into Jerusalem, And The Healing Of The Leper von David Vinckboons wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
