The work The Heart Sutra by Deng Erya was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It achieved a price of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,984.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Deng Erya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Heart Sutra von Deng Erya kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.984,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deng Erya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
