Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A busy Italian market by Di Mario. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,600.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Di Mario have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work Feeding The Chickens; And Another Similar was auctioned for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,134.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A busy Italian market von Di Mario zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.600,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Di Mario konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2005 die Arbeit Feeding The Chickens; And Another Similar für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.134,17) versteigert.
