This artwork by Dia Al-Azzawi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 26,990.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dia Al-Azzawi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arsak Mowt (Your Wedding is Death) in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 235,500.00 (€ 214,833.06).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dia Al-Azzawi erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 37.500,00 (€ 26.990,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dia Al-Azzawi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arsak Mowt (Your Wedding is Death) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 235.500,00 (€ 214.833,06).
