Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Diana Coomans could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Pictures auction, the work After the wedding changed hands for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,599.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Diana Coomans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Entertaining the pharaoh's daughter, which sold at auction in March 2002 for GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,445.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
