Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus Market by Diego Rivera was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,129.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rivals in November last year with an auction result of USD 14,130,000.00 (€ 13,687,881.43).
