In the Old Master Drawings - CSK auction, the work A Surprise Attack On A State-Coach On A Country Road changed hands for GBP 763.75 (€ 1,243.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Maas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thistles, Dock And Other Forest-Floor Plants In A Parkland Setting With Frogs, Butterflies And Snails in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 37,241.23).
