Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flora. 1988. by Domenico Cantatore was auctioned at Koller in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 3,120.00 (€ 2,553.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Domenico Cantatore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura morta in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 24,185.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flora. 1988. von Domenico Cantatore kam im Juni 2011 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 3.120,00 (€ 2.553,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Cantatore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 24.185,25).
