A top price for Donal Hord - as previously expected
The work Summer Rain by Donal Hord was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2013. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,985.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer Rain is the most expensive artwork by Donal Hord that we have observed at auctions so far.
