In the PHOTOGRAPHS, MAGIC LANTERNS AND OPTICAL TOYS AND CAMERAS auction, the work Queen Elizabeth; and Princess Margaret changed hands for GBP 58.75 (€ 92.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 250.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothy Wilding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Queen Elizabeth II, 1952 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 4,788.00.
