Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Doug Hyde Bronze by Doug Hyde was sold in the Native American Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 828.75 (€ 707.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Doug Hyde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in August last year for USD 2,167.50 (€ 2,153.50).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 828,75 (€ 707,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
