Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A female nude in an interior by Richard Durando-Togo. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 1,012.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Durando-Togo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanity in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A female nude in an interior von Richard Durando-Togo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 646,25 (€ 1.012,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Durando-Togo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanity im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.671,79).
