In the Robert Kime, David Bedale, Piers von Westenholz and Christopher Gibbs - The English Home auction, the work Les amoureux sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,868.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmond Aman-Jean - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait de Mademoiselle V.G., which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,549.27).
