Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Road From Paris To Ecouen by Edouard Frère for USD 230.40 (€ 218.02). This price was achieved in the auction WeeklyHome | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 250.00 – 350.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edouard Frère achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feeding the children in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 23,920.86).
