Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Notre Dame de Paris Vue du quai Saint Michel by Édouard Cortès was sold in the Living with Art auction at Christies in New York in August 2017. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,733.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Édouard Cortès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boulevard in Montmartre, Paris in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 73,000.00.

Die Arbeit Notre Dame de Paris Vue du quai Saint Michel von Édouard Cortès wurde im August 2017 in der Auktion Living with Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.733,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
