In July 2012 Christies in London held the auction A Celebration: The Studio of Alberto Morrocco & Binrock House, Dundee, which included the work Miss Jane Aitken by Edward Arthur Walton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,921.64), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Edward Arthur Walton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alice in August 2008 with an auction result of GBP 115,250.00 (€ 142,913.46).

Im Juli 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion A Celebration: The Studio of Alberto Morrocco & Binrock House, Dundee durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miss Jane Aitken von Edward Arthur Walton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.921,64) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Arthur Walton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alice im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 115.250,00 (€ 142.913,46).
