Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 30,058.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Seago have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Household Cavalry in the Mall in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 196,213.48).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 30.058,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Seago auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Household Cavalry in the Mall im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 175.000,00 (€ 196.213,48).
