Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Farmyard friends by Edwin Frederick Holt for GBP 437.50 (€ 499.92). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Frederick Holt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Indian Sardar in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 24,911.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farmyard friends von Edwin Frederick Holt für GBP 437,50 (€ 499,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwin Frederick Holt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of An Indian Sardar im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 24.911,43).
