A top price for Edwin M. Fox - as previously expected
In January 2002 Christies in New York held the auction The British Interior: English Furniture, Paintings,, which included the work Mr. E. Swinnerton's Prize Bull Monk by Edwin M. Fox. The price achieved of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,406.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mr. E. Swinnerton's Prize Bull Monk is the most expensive artwork by Edwin M. Fox that we have observed at auctions so far.

Fox zur Versteigerung kam.
