The work Porte De Tafilalet, 1932 by Elisabeth Dandelot was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 11,152.00 (€ 1,111.98), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Elisabeth Dandelot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scène De Marché À Ouezzan in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 9,850.00.

Die Arbeit Porte De Tafilalet, 1932 von Elisabeth Dandelot wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion A Moroccan Spring bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 11.152,00 (€ 1.111,98) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elisabeth Dandelot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scène De Marché À Ouezzan im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.850,00.
