The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,662.49), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elisabetta Marchioni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, roses, daffodils and other flowers in an urn, on a stone, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 28,800.00 (€ 21,083.46).
