This artwork by Elizabeth Keith achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September this year. In the Fine Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work A Temple Kitchen sold for USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,023.43) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Elizabeth Keith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hong Kong in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,924.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elizabeth Keith erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Japanese and Korean Art wurde die Arbeit A Temple Kitchen für USD 3.200,00 (€ 3.023,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elizabeth Keith auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hong Kong im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.924,92).
