Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Artcurial in Cologne held the auction Twenty One Contemporary, which included the work Woodland - 2003 et Dark Moon by Elizabeth Magill. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,674.00 22% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Magill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heartland in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 55,950.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Köln die Auktion Twenty One Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woodland - 2003 et Dark Moon von Elizabeth Magill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.674,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Magill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heartland im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 55.950,01).
