Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,254.84). Other works by Eloise Harriet Stannard have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 31,812.24) in November 2002 for the work Apples, a pineapple and black grapes in a basket, beside an upturned basket with a pear, plums, redcurrants, a peach, white grapes and a butterfly on a wooden ledge.
