In the The House Sale auction, the work Leisure time on the riverbank sold for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,569.55) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Lévy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work VERCINGETORIX THROWS DOWN HIS ARMS AT THE FEET OF JULIUS CAESAR, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 40,320.00.
