In September 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction UN AUTRE XXE SIECLE: LES ARTS DE LA FIGURATION 1900-1950, which included the work Paysage antique, dit aussi 'Bucolique' by Émile-René Ménard. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile-René Ménard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French The Three Graces in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 329,554.44).

Im September 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion UN AUTRE XXE SIECLE: LES ARTS DE LA FIGURATION 1900-1950 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage antique, dit aussi 'Bucolique' von Émile-René Ménard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile-René Ménard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French The Three Graces im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 329.554,44).
