Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2018. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,962.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.962,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
