This artwork by Emperor Kangxi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the THE IMPERIAL SALE auction, the work Poem In Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 192,000.00 (€ 19,994.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emperor Kangxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 3,068,000.00 (€ 345,461.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Kangxi erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE IMPERIAL SALE wurde die Arbeit Poem In Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 192.000,00 (€ 19.994,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emperor Kangxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.068.000,00 (€ 345.461,35).
