Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled Life IV (2013) by Ephrem Solomon was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,531.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ephrem Solomon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silence Series, 2017, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 15,116.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled Life IV (2013) von Ephrem Solomon kam im September 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.531,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ephrem Solomon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silence Series, 2017 beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 12.750,00 (€ 15.116,56) versteigert wurde.
