Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Erwin Pfrang for USD 313.00 (€ 296.35). This price was achieved in the auction Fast Forward: New Directions in Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Pfrang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Vierhändig / A quatro mani“ in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 3,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Erwin Pfrang für USD 313,00 (€ 296,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fast Forward: New Directions in Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Pfrang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Vierhändig / A quatro mani“ im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.125,00.
