In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction A Tribute to Symbolism, which included the work Une Femme Tenant Une Tête D'Homme : Salomé ? by Erwin Stolz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 390.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Erwin Stolz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures Célestes in September 2017 with an auction result of EUR 1,950.00.

Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion A Tribute to Symbolism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Une Femme Tenant Une Tête D'Homme : Salomé ? von Erwin Stolz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 390,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erwin Stolz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures Célestes im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.950,00.
