The »bidding war« ended at GBP 100,000.00 (€ 109,793.35), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eugen von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).

Die Arbeit Girl At The Window von Eugen von Blaas wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 109.793,35) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugen von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
