Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Young Beauty by Eugen von Blaas was sold in the The European Art Sale Part I auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 138,600.00 (€ 123,617.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugen von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Young Beauty von Eugen von Blaas wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion The European Art Sale Part I bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 123.617,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugen von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
